Eat lunch with Uplands farmers and share and learn from each other. Discussion followed by presentation from Steve Stumbras of Purple Cow and Uplands farmer Jon Novak on biological farming.

About the event
We'll bring lunch and talk about conservation! We start with a conversation on what we tried last year, what worked, what didn't, and plans for next year. Steve Stumbras from Purple Cow and Uplands member Jon Novak will share their experience with biological farming to build soil, make the most of soil fertility, and reduce costs. Jon has been able to eliminate fungicide on corn and soybeans, and significantly reduce nitrogen use. The discussion and presentations will be relevant to anyone who manages soil.
