About the event
Join the Uplands Watershed Group for a pasture walk at Seven Seeds Farm on October 12th at 1 p.m. Michael and Chloe Dolan raise grassfed beef and pastured pork and chicken on their farm in Spring Green. Michael is the founding farmer-leader of the Uplands Watershed Group.
The topics we will discuss include:
-Silvopasture
-Rotational grazing
-Drought resistance for pastures
-Grazing cover crops
-Bale grazing and winter grazing
We will provide an afternoon snack of summer sausage from the farm, crackers, and local cheese.Â
