About the event
It's time to reassess the mission and vision for the Uplands Watershed Group. Please join us for important discussions of where the group has been, what we've accomplished so far, and help determine where we focus our limited time and resources in the future.
Meeting 1 on 2/28/24: We will center the conversation around the following questions:
- What do we want for our watershed in 2050?
- What do we want for our community in 2050?
- What do we want for agriculture in our region in 2050?
Between meetings: If you can't make it to the first meeting, you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts either by survey or phone call (depending on your individual preference). We will analyze notes from the meeting and survey/phone call information, and identify themes. If possible, we will work with partners to see if there is data for understanding what we would need to do to accomplish our long-term goals.
Meeting 2 on 3/20/24: We will present the themes and information about what we might need to do to achieve our vision for the watershed by 2050. Then we will prioritize and strategize around what to do in the next year, five years, 10 years, and beyond.
Lunch will be served at each event. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan.
